MANGAR GIVES AMERICA A FRESH TASTE OF FREEDOM!
Mangar International, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of lightweight patient handling equipment, is set to launch in the US.
The news follows a deal with US firm Turnkey Trading Solutions which will see Mangar International’s US operation kick off with the opening of a warehouse and sales office in Atlanta on March 27.
The move comes as Mangar celebrates 25 years successful trading in the UK.
Andrew Stevenson, Mangar International’s head of export, is excited about the company’s expansion into the American market. He said: “The establishment of an office creates a very firm commitment to our USA distributor and customer base. We are extremely excited about taking our products to the US. We want to give American people the freedom to live their lives as people in the UK have done with the help of our products for many years. This is a big step in Mangar International’s ongoing development and marks 25 years’ hard work from a very dedicated team.”
It’s not the first time Mangar International has had cause to shout about its successes in the US. The company won the Medtrade Providers Choice Award (best use of technology) in Atlanta last year following strong competition bid.
It was on the back of this success that Mr Stevenson was invited to a networking dinner hosted by Mark Durbin, the British Consulate General in Atlanta. Just a few months later the company’s US operation was born.
Andrew Barker, Managing Director of Mangar International is delighted with the establishment of a US branch.

Mangar USA has a 24 hour phone answering service which substantially reduces delivery times to its dealer network.
