It was some thirty years ago that David Garman, our founder and chairman, developed the innovative ‘Mangar Method’ of harnessing low air pressure to lift someone simply and safely. In 1981 the Mangar Portable Bathlift was introduced; the world’s first portable powered bathlift for the home.

Today we have evolved to become a globally focused company with an extensive range of award winning and internationally acclaimed products that provide solutions to a wide variety of lifting, moving and handling problems.
