Healthcare Companies Sponsor Dublin Marathon Contestants
Mangar International, who sponsored ex-employee Chantal Busek and her boyfriend Karol in the Belfast Marathon, are doing so again for the couple's Dublin Marathon challenge on 29th October. Mangar International are delighted that their distributor and leading supplier of specialist medical products in Ireland, O'Neill Healthcare, have agreed to match their donation for a very worthy cause, Spinal Injuries Ireland.
The Charity is a cause very close to Karol's heart as he was spinally injured in a car accident three years ago. He now races in a specialised wheelchair and is responsible for his and Chantal's tough training regime. They cycle around 150km a week to build up stamina and technique. In the Belfast marathon, they raised 1595 euros for the National Children's Hospital at Tallaght. Both Chantal and Karol did really well in their first marathon but plan to do even better in Dublin's Marathon!
