German Success for the Archimedes

We are pleased to announce that our Archimedes bathlift has recently been accepted into the German Medical Aids Directory (Hilfsmittelverzeichnis or HMV). Acceptance into this directory means that the Archimedes has now been allocated a unique HMV code (or Hilfsmittelnummer) and is certified for reimbursement throughout Germany from healthcare and insurance funds.

To be granted an HMV code products must undergo stringent testing and provide evidence of their continued commitment to acheiving high quality. The allocation of this code is the result of hard work by our Export Department and means the Archimedes is now one of only a handful of UK bathlifts to gain this certification.

For any company hoping to have a presence in the German rehabilitation market, an HMV code for their product is a must.
