Sponsored Charity Bike Ride Success
Back in Spring this year we were approached by Steve Lincoln of the London Borough of Wandsworth asking for sponsorship for his proposed London to Paris bike ride in July. Steve told us he was hoping to raise in excess of £1000 for Action Medical Research who fund research into life threatening illnesses. We were pleased to play a modest part in Steve's fundraising effort.
The bike ride took place over four days last month covering a distance of approx 300 miles. We were delighted to hear from Steve that he had successfully completed the ride. To prove it he sent us this photograph showing him looking suitably exhausted but happy to have finished! He has raised an impressive £2600 to date with more pledges still to come. Well done Steve!
