Changes at Mangar International

Two significant new appointments at Mangar International highlight the changes that Managing Director Andrew Barker is ringing in as part of his strategy to manage the company's plans for international expansion and progression.

The company reports that it has always placed great importance on building long-term personal relationships and an efficient aftersales service for its clients, be they private persons or public authorities. This policy is now given a greater dominance with the appointment of Bernard Kevill as Customer Service Director. Bernard has been with the company almost since its inception twenty-five years ago, when he joined from university as an area sales manager. He has since progressed through field sales management, built up the export department from a starting point, and then took his place on the Board as Sales/Marketing Director.

Taking over from Bernard, Andrew Stevenson is to be promoted from the role of Head of the Export Department and will join the Board as Sales/Marketing Director.

Andrew joined Mangar International two years ago after a successful career in the fitness equipment industry in worldwide markets from Asia to the USA. He was headhunted to the role of Sales/Marketing Director and then became Managing Director before negotiating the sale of the business (Sport Engineering Ltd) to Powersport International Ltd. "Andrew's international experience is ideally suited to this role and my fellow directors and I are delighted to welcome him to the Board" said David Garman, owner and now Chairman of the Mangar Holdings Group.
