Winners of Competition Announced!
We are delighted to announce our final 'Win a Bathlift' winner for July: Mrs Thalia Brown from Cambridgeshire. Mrs Brown has chosen our new bath lift, the Bathing Cushion, as her prize as it will help her to have a relaxing bath again. Paul Manning, our new Area Manager, delivered the Bathing Cushion bathlift to Mrs Brown who has severe difficulty getting into and out of the bath. Mrs Brown says: "The Bathing Cushion will make a world of difference to me".
Our congratulations to Mrs Debra Pickett of Kent, who won our June 'Win a Bathlift' competition. Mrs Pickett had entered the competition in the hope of winning a bath lift for her brother. Out of the many entries we received during June we were particularly pleased that Mrs Pickett's altruistic reason for entering was rewarded by being drawn as winner. Our Area Manager for Kent, David Fee, delivered an Archimedes bathlift to Mrs Pickett last month.
Our May winner of the 'Win a Bathlift' Competition: Mrs Rosalind Dennis from Bedfordshire won an Archimedes Bath Lift which was personally delivered to her by our Area Manager Lisa Edwards. Her delight in winning the bath lift is evident as she is pictured trying out her new Archimedes bath lift! Both she and her husband look forward to many years of comfortable bathing with their Archimedes bath lift.
We have been very interested in the comments we received as to what key features influence people when choosing a bathlift. The most important were:
- Ease of installation and removal from the bath
- Ease of use
- Reliability
- Value for money
- Durability
- Stability
- Leg room in bath
- Weight limit
Our bathlifts have always had a reputation for reliability and durability, and there are many of the original Mangar bath lifts still being used today that are over ten years old. Over the years we have improved our bathlifts to incorporate all the above features. We are not complacent however, and our Research & Development Department are continuing striving for even further improvement.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in this competition. It certainly provoked some of you to provide us with detailed comments on what you look for when choosing a bath lift.
